RotaryNews.Com partners with Flaco Racing to bring the MazdaSpeed RX-8 experience to the masses at the Nitto NHRA Sport Compact Nationals at the Sixth annual NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past weekend.

RotaryNews.Com brought out their Racing Beat sponsored MazdaSpeed bodied RX-8 to display at the Flaco Racing Mazda RX-8 pits, and generated much interest through out the weekend. The resemblance from race to street car was so close that the fan product association was amazing.

Drag race fans, not only from the import side of the equation, but more importantly, the domestic side of things, stopped by all day long to check out not only the race car but, more importantly, the street car. The public reaction was great all weekend long. There were lots of questions generated on the MazdaSpeed line of parts and the vehicle itself. Some high profile personalities from the NHRA and th media aslo stopped by and looked.. Kenny Sargent (SpeedFreaks and NHRA TV) stopped by, and spoke to RN.COM for about a half hour. It turns out he has an RX-8 and now wants to equip it out with MazdaSpeed parts.

The Flaco Racing / RotaryNews.Com partnership was so successful that we are looking at doing some future events later in the season!!
