2004 RX-8 Engine recall?? |

I had a battery, all of the spark plugs, coils and wires replaced back in November 2009. I was told the car was hard to start because all of those parts needed to be replaced. I also told them that I had notice a drop in performance and it was sluggish. After all of the work it was still sluggish until Firday, March 12, 2010 when it woud not start. Took it to the dealer, now they want to replace all of those parts again and in the process of trying to get the engine turned over they claim the starter is done to the tune of an additional $550.00. Seems to me this is all related to the engine recall and they are trying to avoid doing the right thing. So, now I am faced whith a $1,600.00 repair bill and no guarantee they can get the car running. Anyone else have something similar to this or heard of this??? |
